Pumpkin Patch 2015

Being off work on the weekends has its advantages.  Like, getting to go to the pumpkin patch with your family!  We ventured out last weekend on a perfect Fall day.  At Cottonwood Farm, we enjoyed lots of animals, pumpkins and festivities.  

 This guy is not as cute & cuddly as he looks apparently!  Yikes!

 On the other hand, the donkey was super sweet & loved to be petted.

 The animals reminded me of being on my Grandparents' farm when I was little.  I loved playing with my Granny's goats!

 We tried to get lost in the corn maze, but kept hitting dead ends.

Fall In Colorado

I hope that our boys grow up knowing how lucky we are to live in Colorado.  It's such a beautiful part of our country and we get to call it home.  Last weekend, Sean & I took them for a drive up into the mountains to see the Aspen leaves changing color.  The boys were not excited initially, but got into the spirit of things once we started seeing some scenery.  I hope we can do this every year, now that I'm no longer working weekend plan!

Mimi's Birthday Party

We timed our visit so we could help Mimi celebrate her birthday while we were home!  She is very loved & received lots of cards from friends near & far.  We are lucky to have you in our lives, Mom! Love you lots.

More Milne Moments

We stayed busy on our entire trip because there is SO much to see & do when we go back home to visit. We made a return visit to the Deanna Rose Farmstead where we were able to get up-close-and-personal with lots of farm animals.

Stop #3, Kansas City!

I was really looking forward to KC so I could snuggle Josh & Natalie's sweet kiddos!  ...And, visit them and Mimi & Grampy of course! ;-) We were welcomed to the Milne residence with this cute sign.  Love it! Thanks for having our crazy crew over.  So wish we lived closer to you all!

 We hauled this jumping zebra toy out to Beckett.  It was one of our boys' favorites & I just knew we needed to pass it on!  I think he liked it! :-)

Brinley got a Cinderella doll.  I love having someone to buy girly things for!  We thought this doll looked just like Brin, too. She's so pretty!

 Time to break for dinner. That Beckett can really put it away!  I think he ate about three times what my boys did.  Wow!

 Josh & Natalie really know how to do Summer in the Midwest.  A little pool action in the back yard to cool off on a hot day.  Fun!
