Mimi and Her Boys

The boys had a lot to be excited about last week: Halloween, two parties AND Mimi was in town! Does it get much better?

Beilman Boys' Birthday Bash

Halloween falls just about three weeks after Carter's birthday and three weeks before Davis's, so we decided to have one BIG birthday party to celebrate these spooktacular milestones. I think this just may turn into an annual event! We were happy to have Mimi in town to help us party, especially since I was super sick, a la strep throat, for two days leading up to the big event.

Thank you so much to all of the friends and family members who helped us celebrate these two special boys! We couldn't ask for a better bunch of people to have in our lives and it means so much to have you share in these joyful times.

Preschool Halloween Party

Carter got to have a Halloween party at school on Friday! He was Woody, from Toy Story, and I think he made such a cute cowboy. We ran into Woody's pal, Jessie, at the party--how cool is that?!

The kids were able to read us their plan for the day before the parade. Now, almost a week later, Carter was still able to read this to me as he watched me update the blog!

Here comes Carter! (This was taken shortly before Davis pulled off my necklace and 100 choking-hazard-sized pieces went flying off into the parade route with 40+ preschoolers stepping all over them. It was awesome.)

Next, time to decorate cookies (or just eat a ton of icing...whatever).
