Epcot

Epcot was such a cool park, almost felt like two different parks actually.  Sean had lots of memories of going to Epcot when he was a child, so this park was especially fun for him.  The boys loved all the Space/Science attractions!

Duffy the Disney Bear was by far Davis's favorite character.  Davis had colored a picture of Duffy dressed in a Santa costume and was so excited to give it to him.  We got special treatment because I don't think Duffy has quite the fan base that Mickey & Donald have.  The ladies who worked in the gift shop where Duffy is stationed were completely in love with Davis and his affinity for Duffy.  It was adorable.

We enjoyed another fun character meal at the revolving restaurant at Epcot.

They grow their own food at Epcot and Carter was showing how healthy food makes your strong!

The World Showcase part of Epcot was my favorite.  (PS: The day we explored the entire park, my pedometer logged 12 miles of walking.  Whew!)  Carter had fun planting Perry the Platypus in various countries.   

The boys loved watching the train outside Germany.  

Another fun lunch... This time it was the aquarium restaurant by the Finding Nemo ride.  Lots of good lunchtime entertainment!

Getting ready to ride the Chevy Test Track ride again. What a blast this was!!! (This is the identical ride to Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land at California Adventure, FYI.  It's just decorated to look like race cars instead of Cars characters.  Of course Sean would notice that.)

We stayed late for the fireworks/light show at Epcot and nearly froze waiting for it to start.  Davis fell asleep in the stroller & Carter complained a lot, but it was worth it in the end.  That show is a must-see! 

Animal Kingdom

We only spent one day at Animal Kingdom, but we crammed lots of fun stuff into our rainy day there.  First stop, Tusker House character breakfast!

During the downpour, we took refuge in many shows throughout the day.  The Lion King spectacular!

Magic Kingdom Revisited

Did I mention that Davis loved "It's a Small World"?  Since we were there celebrating his birthday, we decided to humor him & ride it again and again and again.  

These boys came home exhausted each night.

Davis & I waited in line for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for about 45 minutes on our last day there.  We had already ridden it once via FastPass, but he insisted on riding it again.  We discovered lots of fun stops in the queue for the ride that we missed out on when we walked right on earlier in the week.  This was a musical water stop that provided tons of entertainment.

Walt Disney World-Hollywood Studios

*New Year, new resolution to try & keep the blog updated...time to finish posting about our Disney trip in November! ;-) 

We had lots of favorites at Hollywood Studios...Star Tours & all things Star Wars, Disney Junior characters, stunt shows and Toy Story, to name just a few!  We spent eight days in the parks, so these are all a jumble of our time spent in Hollywood Studios.  The first five days we had Grandad & Grandma Nancy with us (SO much fun!) and the last three days were just the Beilmans.  Definitely a trip to remember...can't wait to go back!

Lightening & Mater took some time off from Radiator Springs to visit Florida!

We mistakenly thought that everyone would know these two characters, but after receiving several confused texts/comments after mailing out our Christmas card, we realized we should have clarified that we did not adopt a large Asian boy.  Oops!

Davis was SO excited for our Disney Junior lunch dates.  He was peeking through the window trying to spy the characters while we waited for our table.  Too cute!
