Memorial Day Hail Storm BBQ

We had Mimi & Grampy visiting over Memorial Day, so a BBQ was in order!  Unfortunately, the weather did not get the memo that this was supposed to be the unofficial start to Summer.  It poured, then hailed on our plans.  But, we went right on ahead anyway!  Mimi & Davis were snuggled up under the blanket while Carter was interested in the hail storm.

Memorial Day Memories

We had a great visit with Grandma Nancy & Grandad over Memorial Day weekend.  I lucked out and got off work early on Saturday evening, so we all met up at Olive Garden to have a belated birthday celebration for ME!  The fun continued on Monday when we were all home together for a BBQ with our friends, the Buyrns.

 We finally filled the sand table & the boys played for a solid hour with no fighting.  It was pretty much amazing.

Time to say good-bye to Grandma & Grandad.  Sad to see them go, but we're looking forward to our trip home this Summer!

Memorial Day

My friend, Cydney, was in town from LA over Memorial Day weekend, so we decided to have a small BBQ. It was eight years ago that Amy #1 and I moved Cyd to her cute Hollywood apartment so she could start her new career in reality TV production. I cannot believe it's been that long ago! We had a fun time trying to get the grill to take off since the wind out here can be ridiculous at times. It literally blew the lid off the grill and then blew grill over. Luckily, Amy's mom Karen was here to save the day. She fixed everything on the stove while the rest of us drank beer & watched. Thank you, Karen!!!

Memorial Day

Sean's parents have been in town visiting this weekend. We have really enjoyed our time together and celebrated Taylor's birthday, my birthday & Memorial Day by having everyone over for dinner tonight.
