Spring Visit From Grandma & Grandpa B

We had a great visit from Sean's folks a couple weeks back.  Since everyone was home on Friday, we decided to visit the Wings Over the Rockies museum in Lowry.  I've been wanting to take the boys for a few years, so I'm glad we finally made it happen!  Lots of cool stuff to see!

 This is the Star Wars X-Wing Fighter that Lucasfilms donated to the museum.  It travels all over the world to official Star Wars functions & one of the volunteers at WOtR even made a replica R2-D2 for it.  The boys loved it!

 Carter wanted the airplane kit of the F-18 because it is one of the fighter jets Grandpa Dan helped design! How cool is that?!

Thanks to Sean & Grandpa Dan, the boys have a cool new bunkhouse!  We love how it turned out!  

Under New Ownership

I am happy to announce that my husband is now an Associate of BCER Engineering!  After spending a small fortune, we own a very very small percentage of the company.  I'm serious, it's tiny.  BUT, it's a big step for Sean and I couldn't be prouder of him and all of his hard work to get to this point.  He is well-respected by all of the other owners for his committee work, quality engineering skills and the great relationships he builds with clients.  We feel very blessed, even if we don't really understand how to calculate heat loads.  Love you, babe!  

Preschool Field Trip

Davis's preschool class got to take a neighborhood field trip to learn about various community helpers.  It was so much fun!  We started out with a road map of our stops.

The veterinarian was a huge hit and probably our favorite.  The kids even got to pet a little puppy!

Happy Easter!

We had a low-key, relaxing Easter this year.  It was really nice.  Thanks to everyone for the nice Easter cards and goodies!  Our boys are pretty lucky!!!

Eggstra Colorful

Easter kind of sneaked up on me this year.  I finally got around to dying eggs with the boys a couple of days ago.  Carter got tired of it pretty quickly, but Davis & I loved it.  The end result was a colorful display of Springtime goodness.

Getting Our Tube On

We headed up to the high country over the boys' spring break and did a little tubing.  First stop-lunch.  This place was the cleanest hole-in-the-wall restaurant I've ever seen.  The scenery was pretty great, too!

Boy did we book it down!  We'll definitely be going  back!  I'd like to try out the hills at Winter Park next season...who's in?!
